The international Fire and Evacuation Modeling Technical Conference (FEMTC) is a regular event with a focus on topics related to Fire and Evacuation Modeling. FEMTC started as a continuation of the Annual Fire Conference. After a long history, NIST elected to stop hosting this event.
While working at NIST, Bryan Klein deeply appreciated his experience with the Annual Fire Conference. With the full support of leadership and staff at Thunderhead, and more importantly the participation of presenters and attendees, FEMTC has become an event that people from all over the world can benefit from.
In addition the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) has been a generous Co-Sponsor of these events, helping to improve global knowledge transfer. As a result, SFPE members receive a discounted ticket price for the event.
As can be seen in our event archives, thought leaders from consulting firms, academia, software development teams, research institutions, and local jurisdictions present on a wide range of topics pertaining to their industry and research fields.
The most common topic areas are:
- Modeling Technology and Methodologies
- Modeling Case Studies
- Material Data and Testing
- Evacuation Studies and Data
- Validation and Verification of Models
Inquires should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
